Fat and excess pounds will MELT off you in a matter of days if you JUST STOP EATING!
An average person can live between 30 and 40 days without food. We don't need HALF the food we think we do. Think about it. When you see all the obese people with distended stomachs walking around, they are literally STUFFED with food and, to make matters worse, their inner pipes are clogged causing toxic waste to back up into their systems. The colon/large intensine is a sewage system. If neglected or abused it turns into a cesspool. Toxins (i.e. POISON), toxic gas and dead waste allowed to remain longer than 24 hours back up and release their deadly contents into the system causing all sorts of bodily ailments and diseases: notably cancer, heart disease, diabetes, liver/gall bladder disease, high blood pressure, indigestion, bowel disorders, skin problems, headaches, arthritis and SURPRISE...distended stomachs and weight gain! The list goes on and on.
You ask yourself, "What can I REALLY do to lose weight and be healthy?" The answer is really quite simple: EDUCATE YOURSELF ABOUT NUTRITION AND HEALTH!
Sure exercise is very important...particularly walking and getting your arms above your heart, but what you put into your body is more important. You've heard is said before, "YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT." It's completely true.
Kiss McDonald's, Burger King, Domino's (how disgusting), Pizza Hut, Wendy's, White Castle (even worse) and KFC away forever. They all add addictive ingredients to their food to get you hooked and get you to eat more than you actually need. Sure you can have a slice of good pizza from time to time. Try John's Pizzeria in the Village. Joe's is also great for a street slice. They use fresh, quality ingredients. Patsy's, Luzzo's and Una Pizza Neopolitana also make a good pie. For a burger, try a good, quality ground round at a pub. Their beef is almost always better than fast food chains. Try to order beef from South America, particularly Argentina, whenever possible. Their beef is grass-fed as opposed to grain-fed which makes it not only more healthy, but more tender. Also, the animals are not injected with antibiotics or growth hormones like they are here in the USA. Always look for the "CERTIFIED ORGANIC" seal of approval. Stay FAR away from pork. Did you know that pigs not only eat their own feces but the feces of other pigs in the pen? How revolting!
Here in America, we are the most overfed and undernourished society that has ever lived! Processed foods are so manipulated to prolong shelf life that they are grossly deficient in nutrients. As a result of ingesting processed and overprocessed foods, our tissues and organs must continually draw from our bodies' stored nutrient reserves, setting us up for nutritional deficiencies.
For most Americans, eating has become more of a recreation than a daily necessity based upon nutritional wisdom. More than anything else ORGANIC JUICE FASTING is a powerful, natural way to cleanse your body from a lifetime collection of toxins, mucoid plaque, excess bile, dead fecal matter, gas, parasites, worms, bad fats and other chemicals that cause weight gain and degenerative diseases. Some eating tips that might help you as well:
1) Use chopsticks instead of your fork. Americans have turned the fork in to a shovel! If you pick at your food instead of shoveling it, you will eat less food in the same amount of time and you will be satisfied.
2) You can cut down on your portion size by using the side/salad plate for your main course. We have a tendency to want to fill up the space on the large dinner plate just to make it look appealing. No good. Do you know how embarassing it is to be in a restaurant and have foreign tourists take photos of the enormous pile of food that is served to them on a platter on which they feed an entire family?
3) No solid or liquid food after 7 p.m. Difficult, I know, but it CAN be done.
4) Cut out all sodas...particularly diet ones. They have ABSOLUTELY NO NUTRITIONAL VALUE! They are called the "new crack!" Remember that all diet sodas and sugar substitutes/artificial sweetners contain aspartame which is POISON!
5) An apple a day...well, you know how that one goes...
Apples are an excellent source of both fiber and vitamin C. You need to eat organic apples EVERY DAY and eat them early in the day. You will feed your blood the natural sugar it needs so you won't crave the fake sugar (i.e. candy bars!) later in the day. They normalize your sugar levels and decrease your appetite.
6) Do wheatgrass shots at your health food store. One ounce of wheatgrass is the equivalent of 2 1/2 POUNDS of fresh, raw vegetables! So if you don't like to eat raw vegetables, get your greens all in one power shot. It doesn't taste so great (I always chase it with a fresh-squeezed orange juice), but it is FULL OF PHYTONUTRIENTS that your cells CRAVE! Phytonutrients (specifically cholorphyll) have a similar chemical composition to human blood. You can also buy Liquid Cholorphyll at your local health food store. I put it in my bottled water almost everyday. It has a wonderful mint flavor which also freshens the breath.
7) Take whole food supplements such as spirilina, blue-green algae, chlorella, bee pollen and royal jelly. They have very strong nutritional profiles.
8) Do shots of raw apple cider vinegar with "mother" (No, not YOUR mother, silly, mother is the apple pectin). This is the fastest fat burner I know of.

11) Drink a glass of filtered water immediately upon rising. This starts the body's metabolism and cleansing for the day. Then drink AT LEAST 8 glass of filtered water throughout the day. (Juices, coffee/tea or other liquid drinks DO NOT COUNT as water).
12) Eat your largest meal at midday. Your heaviest meal should NOT be dinner. A glass of fine red wine with a meal never hurt anybody :-)
13) Don't feel obligated to eat just because it's mealtime. If you are not hungry, then DON'T EAT!
14) When your hunger craving has been satisfied within the course of a meal, STOP EATING! Don't feel guilty about leaving food on a plate...EVER!
